Event

The day begins with the “Challenge”, a Three Gun competition open to all active Law Enforcement. Individuals and teams representing Law Enforcement agencies from all over California compete for the title of Top Cop. The competition put ones overall skills to the test, their marksmanship, agility, speed and endurance. The general public is always welcome and encouraged to come out to watch. Awards are presented to the first, second and third place individuals and teams.

The stakes are high, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place individual and team winners will be awarded a total of $12,000.00 in the form of grants/donations made on their behalf and agency affiliation to the non-profit Veteran and/or First Responder organization of their choosing, it’s a win-win for all. In addition, the 1st place individual winner will be going home with a new firearm.

This year’s theme is honoring all who have, or are serving in the United States Marine Corps.

The awards banquet and auction following the competition, held in the Pokerville Hall at the Amador County Fairgrounds, is when the winners of the “Challenge” are declared. In addition to a great meal served with complementary wine, there is also a raffle, auction, special drawings and entertainment.
